My first knife was a two bladed slip joint from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. I conned my Mom into buying it at a garage sale when I was 8, I didn't get unsupervised possession until I turned 10 though.

Other than this kind of work, not really. I keep guns and cars and flashlights, all those "other" cool things, at a distance because I don't know how to be a little into something. My experience says I will get interested in a thing and then full on leverage that into multiple businesses to the exclusion of everything else, so I try to keep that to a minimum.

I would say that I'm less inclined to go fast, but when I played the "Oregon Trail" as a kid, I never made it to Oregon, I always died. So maybe off road and overland is not for me? I tell you what I would like if money was no object is one of those trucks from the 1950s or 60s that has been modernized on the interior. So it's basically a brand new truck on the inside with the fully restored classic truck body. Maybe a 1968 short bed four wheel drive half ton Ford just like my grandpa had when I was a little kid.

I mix it up a little, depends on where I'm gonna be and what I think I might be doing. I always carry a gun, and always carry a knife, and usually carry a flashlight and I use the light the most I think. I also carry a lucky charm, which is why I always go heeled. They are always after me Lucky Charms. I also usually carry a Sharpie or similar, even though I'm functionally illiterate.
